ZANGMA | MINIMALIST PAINTINGS ON GLASS
MINIMALISM & HAND SCREEN PRINTING
The fundamental aesthetic principle that defines all of my work is minimalism, strong color contrast, and poetic quality. I work with handmade silkscreen printing on glass, which is an unusual medium in contemporary graphic art. Handmade screen printing is a planographic printing technique with roots in ancient China and Japan.

GLASS AS A KEY ELEMENT
Glass, as the main material, has a light and spatial presence. It gives the artworks a subtle transparency, depth, and luminosity. Shadow, light, and the background of the interior often come into play, creating another layer of visual experience.

NATURAL MOTIFS AND SYMBOLS
I combine natural motifs, linear elements, and symbolic forms such as the moon, branches, falling leaves, grasses, or the circle, which can evoke a calm, contemplative atmosphere. The compositions are simple, often based on one or two dominant lines or symbols. The images have contemplative depth and can serve as “visual anchors” for calm, presence, and silence. Selected motifs reflect a connection to nature, the rhythm of time, and impermanence.
My artworks are objects that exist on the borderline between fine art and design.
